Scope of
Services

MICA Industrial acts as your complete end-to-end procurement and manufacturing partner — reducing operational burdens while maximising value, quality, and reliability across borders. Our scope spans every stage of the supply chain: from identifying the right factory on the other side of the world, to delivering finished product to your door, fully compliant and on time.
01
Supplier Identification & Qualification
We find and vet reliable manufacturers across global regions — assessing quality systems, production capacity, regulatory compliance, labour standards, and competitive pricing before any relationship is formed. Every supplier in our network is earned, not inherited.
02
Negotiation & Contracting
Our team handles all commercial negotiations — pricing, payment terms, MOQs, lead times, and contractual protections — to secure the strongest possible commercial position for our clients. We work exclusively in your interest, never on supplier commission.
03
Quality Control & Assurance
From pre-production approvals to inline inspections and final random audits, MICA implements a rigorous quality framework at every production stage. We serve as your eyes and ears on the factory floor — ensuring every shipment meets your specification and international standards.
04
Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination
We manage the full logistics chain — freight forwarding, warehousing, consolidation, customs clearance, and last-mile delivery — coordinating across multiple origins and modes of transport to optimise lead times, costs, and on-time performance.
05
Compliance & Risk Management
We ensure full adherence to local and international regulations — labour laws, environmental standards, trade tariffs, product certifications, and import/export controls. We also monitor and mitigate geopolitical, currency, supplier concentration, and supply chain disruption risks on your behalf.
06
Market Intelligence & Cost Analysis
Our team continuously monitors raw material pricing trends, exchange rate movements, regional manufacturing capacity shifts, and emerging supply risks — providing clients with timely, actionable intelligence to inform sourcing decisions and protect margins before market conditions change.
07
Product Development Support
We bridge the gap between client concept and factory capability — supporting design refinement, material selection, prototyping, packaging development, and customisation. Whether you are developing a new product from scratch or adapting an existing range, our engineering team works with you and the factory to get it right.

Overview
Environmental
Social
Governance
Performance
Future Commitments

Three Pillars.
One Integrated Approach.

Our ESG framework is built on three core pillars, ensuring sustainable growth while meeting stakeholder expectations and aligning with global sustainability frameworks including the UN SDGs, UN Global Compact, and the GRI Standards.

Environmental Responsibility
Reducing environmental impact across our operations and supply chain through efficient processes, sustainable sourcing, and a commitment to lower emissions and resource consumption.
Social Impact
Supporting employees, partners, and communities with fair labour practices, occupational safety, human rights protections, and meaningful development opportunities throughout our supply chain.
Governance Excellence
Maintaining transparency, ethics, and accountability across all levels of the organisation and supply chain — from board-level oversight to supplier compliance and grievance mechanisms.

Commitment to Environmental Protection

MICA Industrial recognises the environmental impact of global manufacturing and sourcing operations. We are committed to reducing our footprint through continuous improvement, sustainable procurement, and innovation — working with our supply chain partners to drive measurable progress on climate and resource efficiency.

Key Focus Areas
  • Energy efficiency and greenhouse gas emissions reduction
  • Sustainable sourcing of raw materials and components
  • Waste reduction and recycling initiatives across operations
  • Water conservation practices at supplier facilities

  • Promote circular economy principles with supplier partners
  • Encourage renewable energy adoption at production facilities
Environmental Compliance
All MICA Industrial supply chain partners are required to comply with applicable environmental laws and hold valid environmental permits in their country of operation. We conduct regular compliance audits and require immediate remediation of any identified violations.
Supplier Environmental Requirements
Our Environmental Policy sets minimum standards for all Tier 1 suppliers, with expectations cascaded to sub-contractors. Requirements include:
  • No illegal discharge of effluent, chemicals or waste
  • Valid environmental permits available on request
  • Active management of energy, water and material use
  • Reporting of significant environmental incidents within 24 hours
Our Environmental Policy
MICA Industrial's full Environmental Policy is publicly available in our Policy Documents section. It is reviewed annually and updated to reflect evolving regulatory requirements and best practice.

Our Future
Commitments

01
Strengthen Sustainability Across Operations
Embed sustainability criteria into every sourcing decision — making environmental and social performance a core part of supplier selection, evaluation, and ongoing relationship management.

Supplier Code
of Conduct

MICA Industrial requires all suppliers, manufacturers, and service providers in our global network to comply with this Code of Conduct as a condition of doing business with us. The Code is grounded in international standards including the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, ILO Core Conventions, and the UN Global Compact.

Non-compliance may result in corrective action plans, suspension, or termination of the business relationship.

▣ Applies to All Supply Chain Partners
01 No Child Labour
+

MICA Industrial has a zero-tolerance policy on child labour in all forms. We require full compliance with applicable minimum age legislation and ILO Convention No. 138 and No. 182 across all production facilities and partner operations.

  • No worker under the age of 15 (or local legal minimum, whichever is higher) shall be employed in any capacity
  • All suppliers must verify worker age through reliable documentation prior to employment
  • Young workers aged 15–18 must not be assigned to hazardous work or excessive hours
  • Suppliers must have documented procedures for responding to discovered incidents of child labour
  • Remediation must prioritise the welfare and education of any affected child — not simply dismissal
02 Combatting Forced & Bonded Labour
+

All work performed within the MICA Industrial supply chain must be freely chosen. We prohibit every form of forced, bonded, trafficked, or compulsory labour — including practices that restrict workers' freedom of movement or withhold their identity documents.

  • Workers must be free to terminate employment with reasonable notice and without financial penalty
  • No supplier may hold, retain, or confiscate passports, identity documents, or personal belongings
  • Recruitment fees must never be charged to workers — all such costs are borne by the employer
  • Debt bondage, wage withholding, and coercive deposit schemes are strictly prohibited
  • Suppliers must conduct regular audits of sub-contractors for forced labour risk
03 Responsible Recruitment
+

MICA Industrial supports the Employer Pays Principle. All recruitment — whether direct or via third-party agencies — must be conducted ethically, transparently, and in full compliance with applicable law.

  • All recruitment agencies used by suppliers must be vetted and approved in advance
  • Workers must receive written contracts in a language they understand before commencing work
  • Employment terms, wages, working hours, and benefits must be accurately disclosed at point of offer
  • No worker may be recruited under false pretenses, misleading job descriptions, or deceptive contracts
  • Migrant workers must receive equivalent protections to local workers under MICA's standards
04 Environmental Responsibility
+

MICA Industrial expects all supply chain partners to operate responsibly in relation to the environment — minimising pollution, managing waste appropriately, and continuously reducing their environmental footprint.

  • Full compliance with all applicable environmental laws and regulations in the country of operation
  • No illegal disposal of hazardous waste, chemicals, or effluent into waterways, land, or atmosphere
  • Suppliers are encouraged to measure, report, and reduce their greenhouse gas emissions
  • Resource efficiency — energy, water, raw materials — must be actively managed and improved
  • Suppliers must maintain valid environmental permits and make them available for review on request
05 Grievance Mechanisms
+

Workers in the MICA supply chain must have access to safe, confidential, and accessible channels to raise concerns without fear of retaliation. MICA Industrial operates its own grievance mechanism for supply chain partners and workers.

  • All suppliers must establish and communicate at least one accessible worker grievance channel
  • Grievances must be recorded, investigated promptly, and resolved with documented outcomes
  • No worker may face retaliation, demotion, dismissal, or harassment for raising a legitimate concern
  • Workers must be informed about MICA Industrial's own external grievance channel
  • MICA reserves the right to investigate complaints raised directly by workers in partner facilities
06 Human Rights & Environmental Due Diligence
+

MICA Industrial conducts human rights and environmental due diligence across our supply chain in line with the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and emerging mandatory due diligence legislation globally.

  • Suppliers must cooperate fully with MICA's due diligence assessments, audits, and risk mapping
  • High-risk suppliers and geographies are subject to enhanced scrutiny and corrective action monitoring
  • MICA will identify, prevent, mitigate, and account for adverse human rights and environmental impacts
  • Suppliers are expected to cascade due diligence requirements to their own sub-contractors
  • MICA publishes its due diligence approach and material findings in its annual ESG Report
07 Occupational Health & Safety
+

Every worker in the MICA supply chain has the right to a safe, healthy, and dignified working environment. Our OHS requirements apply to all production facilities, warehouses, logistics operations, and any other workplace in our supply chain.

  • Suppliers must comply with all applicable occupational health and safety laws and regulations
  • Adequate PPE must be provided at no cost to workers in all roles where hazards exist
  • Emergency procedures, fire exits, first aid, and safety signage must be maintained at all times
  • Working hours must comply with legal limits — excessive overtime must not be used as a routine practice
  • All workplace accidents and near-misses must be recorded, investigated, and remediated
08 Modern Slavery & Disclosure
+

MICA Industrial is committed to identifying and eliminating modern slavery in all its forms — including forced labour, human trafficking, debt bondage, and servitude — across our entire supply chain. We publish an annual Modern Slavery Disclosure Statement in compliance with applicable legislation.

  • MICA conducts annual modern slavery risk assessments across all supply chain tiers
  • All new suppliers in high-risk categories undergo mandatory pre-qualification screening
  • Staff involved in sourcing and procurement receive regular modern slavery awareness training
  • Suspected incidents must be reported immediately — MICA will act swiftly on all credible reports
  • Our annual disclosure statement is published on this website and filed in accordance with applicable law
